THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR A PART TIME POSITION.
Obtains financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals on an adding machine. Ability to compute percentage rates and commissions on an adding machine.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to pay close attention to detail when conducting all essential duties.
Two years related experience. Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proficient in ten key by touch. Comprehends basic accounting principles of credits and debits.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED.) Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proficient in ten key by touch. Comprehends basic accounting principles of credits and debits.
